Start from the goal, then see which peptides are approved, which are investigational and which have no approved product.

  • Weight Loss

Weight-management peptides split into two groups: FDA-approved incretin drugs (semaglutide, tirzepatide) available by prescription, and investigational ones such as retatrutide that are only legally available in trials.

  • Injury & Recovery

Recovery peptides such as BPC-157 and TB-500 are popular but unapproved; their evidence is mostly from animals, and their compounding status is under FDA review after a July 2026 advisory vote.

  • Growth Hormone

GH-axis peptides stimulate the body's own growth hormone. Only tesamorelin has a current FDA approval (for one narrow indication); sermorelin's brand product was discontinued; ipamorelin was never approved.

  • Longevity

Longevity uses of peptides such as MOTS-c rest on early, mostly animal research. Telehealth longevity services mainly prescribe established drugs off-label.

How it works

  1. 1. We read the public page.

A vendor's COA page, a clinic's services page, an FDA label, a trial registry entry.

  2. 2. We record the fact with its link and the date.

If a fact can't be traced to a public source, it doesn't go on the site.

  3. 3. We show it as a source slip.

Fact, source and check date side by side — so you can verify it in one click.

Example: three vendor pages as slips

Peptide Partners: labs in its certificate table
Chromate, BioRegen, Kovera and TrustPointe (as listed on the page).
Peptide Partners — Independent CertificationsChecked
Peptide.Express: most recent Retatrutide 30mg certificate
Lot PX-L916 (RT30), tested September 22, 2026: 99.98% HPLC purity, Freedom Diagnostics (accession 2609220031).
Peptide.Express — Lab Results & Certificates of AnalysisChecked
BioLongevity Labs: labs it names
SafeCert Labs, BioRegen and AV Analytics, with the testing role of each.

Frequently asked questions

What is The Peptide Directory?

A source-linked directory of peptide vendors, telehealth providers and clinics, plus peptide profiles and calculators. Every fact links to the public page it came from and the date we checked it.

Do you rank or score vendors?

Not at the moment. Until we publish a testing methodology with real results, vendor pages show verifiable facts only — such as whether a COA page exists and which labs a vendor names. The default directory order starts from published criteria (transparency, then compounds in stock, then typical price per mg), not a score; editors also spread out vendors with related ownership or shared suppliers so no group clusters together, and a strict criteria ranking is available.

Where do your facts come from?

From vendors' and clinics' own public pages, FDA labels and announcements, ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed and PubChem. Each fact shows its source link and check date.

Are research peptides legal to use?

Products sold "for research use only" are not approved for human use. Some peptides, such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, are FDA-approved medicines available by prescription; others, such as BPC-157, have no approved product.

Is this medical or dosing advice?

No. We report doses only as printed in FDA labels or used in published trials, for reference. Talk to a licensed clinician about any treatment.

How does a clinic or vendor get listed?

We list businesses whose key facts we can confirm on their own websites. Listing is free and not for sale; see Claim your listing.
